My Little Manatee: Friendship is Blubber.

There's some guys out there who are big fans of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It seems kinda weird but I've been checking it out and I can't think of anything bad to say about it. It proves to me that something can be made for children and still have elements that even older people can enjoy. It also proves that adult humor and references need not be a euphemism for "crass and vulgar".

Anyway, I spotted a "My little manatee" on Katie Cook's blog that she made as part of her announcement that she would writing for a new My Little Pony comic book, and I just went with that. Ms. Cook, If you see this please know that I don't want to steal your idea. I just saw something cool and wanted to add too it.

I owe this to someone. Honestly he probably only has root beer in that mug but it is a full pint. For a fellow that size it could have some effects.

In other news, I really need to learn how to do digital art with confidence so I don't have to keep popping out pencil sketches.

Waking up early is a necessary evil sometimes, but it doesn't mean we have to enjoy it...

Me? a blogger?

Yeah I may have crossed into the dark side here, making anything to put my thoughts on the Internet for everyone to see. I'm not someone who's really into that I'll admit, I don't even have a facebook but it was recommended that I set this up as a heads up to my future career.

I made this as a way to express my thoughts as well as an outlet for my artwork. I hope doing that will not only help me improve my skills, but make it much easier for me to find a job when the time comes that I need to look for one. Supposedly prospective employers will want to see my artwork, and something like this is a little more professional then giving them my Deviantart address. I'll probably still upload stuff there, but considering that I will be transferring schools to BYU Idaho relatively soon, that may be put on hold. I'm not totally sure, but if youtube is filtered on their campus Internet, chances are deviantart is as well.
